Hi, welcome to Sadia Said So! As you might’ve already guessed, my name is Sadia, and I’m incredibly excited to have you here on my little corner of the internet.

So, let’s get into it: I’m a writer, a dedicated HR professional, have a passion for fashion, and am a firm believer in Islam. By day, I’m all about HR—Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, you name it. By night, I’m either lost in the world of fashion or knee-deep in crafting. Oh, and if you hear baby giggles in the background, that’s probably my adorable nephew!

The idea for Sadia Said So came to me as I found myself going through challenges as a young Muslim minority trying to make it in Corporate America and finish college simultaneously. All I wanted was to figure out how to provide for my family, kickstart my career, and obtain financial freedom in the long run. As a Bengali woman, just going to college was a privilege in itself, so I knew I had to capitalize on the opportunity in front of me. I realized that many people face similar challenges, and I wanted to create a platform where I could share my insights, tips, and tricks. Once I obtained my Bachelor’s in Human Resources Management, I thought, why not share what I’ve learned? And what better way than a blog? I’ve always had a passion for writing. Words have the power to destroy or empower, and I want to use mine to empower any woman who has ever felt like me. I never pulled the trigger until now.

That’s what you’ll find here: a one-stop-shop to navigate business or any professional setting, but make it stylish. This blog is dedicated to being a Muslim women’s guide to business in style, and we’ll talk about various topics ranging from office decor, networking as a Muslim, juggling salah and meetings, normalizing holidays like Eid and Ramadan in the workplace, and what to wear to that office party coming up.

Expect posts filled with practical advice, thought-provoking insights, and a sprinkle of humor. Whether you’re a Muslim woman, a fashion enthusiast, a small business owner, or a college student looking for resources, I promise there’s something here for you.
